Guajira - March 1st. to March 9th

We will bring you to eastern Cuba: Holguin province, and the city of Las Tunas, a region in which we have strong ties to the local youth cycling club ( EIDE), which Bicycle Breeze and CanBiCuba have supported for many years. This tour we will ride mostly dirt backloads and visit a number of out of the way great beaches that are not on the tourist trail. The name of this ride is Guajira (say wa-he-ra) which means hillbilly girl. This is not a derogatory term but rather refers to the fact that she is from the countryside...

Gringo Viejo

Welcome to Cuba with our friend Dot on her Gringo Viejo ride. We named the ride after a restaurant called Gringo Viejo, owned by a friend who has a striking resemblance to Gregory Peck. He named his establishment after the movie Gringo Viejo, which stars Gregory Peck. The staff is kind and friendly and the food, delicious. This is where we end our ride. This tour takes us through south central Cuba from Havana to the colonial cities of Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Santa Clara. Beaches, lakes, mountain tops, waterfalls, national parks...

Trans Cuba Sportive​ February 13th – 28th. 2020.

Trans Cuba 2020 will be the 7th edition of this epic ride across Cuba from end to end. This is listed as a “Sportif’ and only road bikes will be permitted. You need to study the itinerary carefully, there are some long rides involved and a good level of experience is required. This is not a race.

Celia Sanchez November 1st-15th. 2019

Celia Sanchez was the heroine of the revolution. She was a girl from the Sierra Maestra and knew the area well and was acquainted with the mountain people because she assisted her father, in his medical practice, serving the poor people who lived up in those high mountains. Not only did the locals know Celia well, they loved her for her her kind work helping the people as she worked with her father, who had his practise in the small town of Pilon at the Western end of these famous mountains...

We have in the past just used Baracoa as a staring point for CicloTemba & Trans Cuba rides but this time we linger at a wonderful beach...

Bold Betties (Private Tour)

This tour is a hybrid of both our Fat Mary ride and The Mountain Bike Christmas route. Created for the Bold Betties group we aim to bring you good look at our beautiful country in a short tour through Havana and Western Cuba.We have included the Historic Capital and some very nice beaches, a glimpse of the City people, a visit to a youth cycling club and into the mountains where a horse is the best choice of transport.
